The nuts and bolts of business—operations, systems, and sales. This section is designed to help the creative brain take a deep breath, dig in, and create a solid foundation to set you up for the future. We understand that having a small business is unpredictable and can feel overwhelming, so investing in a solid operational foundation is an investment in feeling secure while navigating the unexpected, and will help you focus on the work you like doing the most — being creative. 

In this section we will focus on sales channels, product management, and how to approach financial planning in a way that is right for you and your creative business. 

When:
Tuesdays April 23rd — May 7th 7:00-  8:30 pm (3 sessions) OR
Sundays May 5th + May 12th 2:00 - 4:30 pm. (2 sessions)

Meet Your Instructors:
Corie Humble (she/her) is a designer, founder, and creative director who has partnered with brands such as DWR, The Citizenry, and West Elm to build Circle & Line, a home decor design and fabrication studio. As a creative director she builds sustainable consumer goods and oversees every aspect of the business. Her experience offers valuable insights into how to build creative, product-centered brands from concept strategy to practical implementation.

Celina Zisman (they/she) is a small business strategist working alongside makers, musicians, and creative solopreneurs within Austin's arts ecosystem. Through one-on-one sessions, lectures, and workshops, Celina empowers artists across disciplines with the tools to establish, grow, and maintain a business, all while developing professional best practices.
